It is impossible to help all people in the world, so governments should only focus on people in their own countries. To what extent do you agree or disagree ?

Gone is unanimous support for trans-boundary aids, skeptics have spearheaded much opposition, arguing that being a beacon of hope should only be confined to domestic people.

However, being unable to eradicate suffering of all people does not necessarily mean localized government assistance is the only appropriate kind. The seemingly irrelevant outbreak of novel virus in a foreign far-off area is bound to have widespread global health ramifications; by the same token, ignorance over overseas illicit trafficking of human, drug or weapons could have unintended consequences that we could regret. In other words, this blurred boundary between domestic and international issues has underscored that aids for overseas people are no longer charity, but more importantly an essential tool for proactive development.
